Astrology : Astrology is an art for some people and some people claim it to be a science. some people believe in it and some people consider it a simple superstition.
People who have real sense of Astrology consider it to be a pseudoscience. Western Astrologers predict someone's personality and Vedic Astrologers use it to forecast the future events, but sadly they are not always true.
How is it a pseudo-science?
This is considered science because it uses the scientific calculations to find out the exact locations of the planets and stars in the zodiac. Zodiac is ruled by 12 different signs each spanning over 30 degrees so making it a total of 360 degrees. Aries is considered as the first sign of the zodiac, and then there are 11 others Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpion, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.
Astrologer find the location of the planets like Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune on the zodiac. Similarly there are about 27 stars which are also assumed to have certain influence on a person. 12 zodiac signs are having certain control over a person life, and they are also affected by the planets residing in them during the birth of a person.
So you can see that it is certainly not scientific to believe that a zodiac sign and some planets will affect our life, that is why Astrology is known as a Pseudo-science. The two famous branches of Astrology are
1) Western Astrology & 2) Indian Astrology.
Some astrologers get more famous when their predictions come true. In India it has become trend that famous astrologers get on TV and then they are consulted by the people on the phone numbers provided on the TV screen.
Indian Astrology is considered oldest as it has the most ancient texts available with us.
Many people these days face the problems in their relationships and if one follow the astrological approach then they will not fail in making good relationships.
I learned the about the different sign compatibility and when I searched the people for the field results then I found it true. A Sagittarius,Leo and Aries go well together. Similarly a Scorpion, Pisces and Cancer can work well together. These are the generalized grouping, based on the Sun-sign, but other planets are also having some powers so one has to look deeper into your Natal Chart to get the more accurate predictions.
