Sun in Libra, Venus in Virgo and Mercury in Libra(Sun and Venus both in signs of Debilitation)

First of as many people has said, your astrological chart is only a indicator and what really happens in life depends mostly on you, of course, if you understand it. There is one most powerful God, above all these planets and if a person starts believing in it, can overcome every bad planet.

Well, today I have come up with a birth chart having interesting combination of the placements of the planets inside.
This person is Aquarius Ascendant, having Sun in Libra, individually this placement makes Sun debilitated. Next interesting thing is that the Lord of the sign of debilitation, Venus is also debilitated in the sign of Virgo.
Now next interesting thing is that Mercury is situated in the sign of Libra.

Isn't that such an interesting and rare combination of placement of planets. If you know that there is Yoga known as "Neecha-Bhanga" Yoga, then you will see that it applies in this chart, not once but twice.

Both Sun and Venus are individually debilitated, because of their placements in their respective signs of debilitation. If we take the placements of all the planets at same time, then we can see that as Mercury has gone to the house of Venus, so they are sharing their houses with each other.

This cancels the debilitation of the Venus in first place.
At the same time, Sun is debilitated in Libra, but as Venus the lord of Libra sign, is also debilitated in the sign of Virgo, so that cancels the debilitation of the Sun too.

Another interesting thing in this chart is that Sun is placed in the 9th house, where he gives ultimate results if not debilitated. Also the lord of the second house and 11th house, which is Jupiter, naturally the most beneficial planet of the zodiac, is also placed with Sun and Mercury in 9th house. That makes the position of Sun more stronger and therefore I think this person, though is having two debilitated planets in its chart, still is going to rule like a king.

 We know that Lagnesh(Ascendant lord) in your birth chart is decided on the basis of the position of the ascendant at the time of your birth. Similarly your rashi is decided on the basis of the position of the Moon.
 Ascendant changes its place(zodiac) in about 2 hours and 15 minutes, so Ascendant is the fastest moving entity(imaginary though). Moon travels through a zodiac in about 2 full days and one quarter day.
This way Moon is the second fastest moving entity in your birth-chart. As we know that Ascendant represents our personality/first impression, our physique and forms the basis for the map of your whole life. This makes it the most important chart in the Vedic Astrology. Moon being the Karka(significant) of mind, makes it the next important chart in the Vedic Astrology.

What does Moon Chart Tell about a Person?

If there are Raj Yogas formations in your Lagna chart, they are checked in the Moon charts too, if present in both, this confirms the Yoga. Moon Chart is also used to judge the psyche of the person.  I have consulted a number of good articles and what I have concluded is that Moon Chart is constructed in the following steps.

1. Look at your lagna chart and locate the position of the Moon. 
2. Now rotate all the zodiacs(Rashis) along with the respective planets in them in such a way that Moon and its ruling zodiac(the zodiac in which Moon is present) comes in the place of the Ascendant. 
3. Automatically, all the planets will get shifted from their respective places. For example, a Virgo-Ascendant has its Moon placed in the 10th house of Gemini. This means that person belongs to Gemini Rashi (moon).  In order to prepare you Moon Chart, bring the Gemini along with moon into the house number one. 
4. Ascendant will get moved from its first house to a house located at same number of house distance with which the Moon was placed behind the Ascendant. This new chart is your Moon birth-chart.

What is Neecha-Bhanga Yoga in Vedic Astrology

What does Neecha/Debilitation Mean?

First of all, Neecha-Bhanga Yoga means the cancellation of the debilitation of a debilitated planet. 

Debilitation of a planet makes it weak and sometimes evil. It depends on the planet and the sign in which it got placed in the chart.

  Sun is debilitated in Libra, Mars in Cancer, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Virgo, Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Aries. When a planet is debilitated, it gives us bad results by harming the house in which it is situated. Along with that this planet will not be able to handle the affairs of the houses of its own rulership.

Neecha-Bhanga Yoga (Cancellation of the Debilitation):

Now there are some specific combinations of the planetary positions in your birth chart when the debilitation gets cancelled. In case of the cancellation of the debilitation or Neecha-Bhanga a Raj Yoga is formed, which gives its native power, name and fame.
So, what are those combinations of the planetary positions in your birth-chart?.. well here is the list:

1. There are 4 Kendra houses in your birth-chart i.e. 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th house. When the lord of the sign of debilitation of a planet is placed in the Kendra house. Let me give you an example, Venus is debilitated in Virgo and Mercury being the lord of Virgo is placed either in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house in your birth-chart. 
2. The exaltation lord of the debilitated planet is located in Kendra from Lagna or the Moon.
3. The debilitated planet exchanges the houses with its debilitation lord. For example, Sun is placed in Libra and Venus in Leo. 
4. The debilitated planet is associated with or is in an aspect of the debilitation lord.
5. Two debilitated planets aspects each other.

There are so many other combinations which I will not mention here because I still don't have the confidence in sharing those with you.

Cure for Low self esteem with Vedic Astrology

Hi, I just watched a video by Kapiel Raaj in his famous Youtube channel KRS, about Low Self Esteem and its Vedic Astrological Cure. I thought this might be useful to you, whether this applies to you or anyone in your friend circle.

What does it mean to have low self esteem? Kapiel explained it with an example, suppose you go to a party full of people. You were happy to go into that party, you were in a good mood but then you meet the people in there who were dressed in such a fabulous manner than you started comparing them to yourself. You start criticizing yourself and suddenly your good mood goes low.

You start getting jealous, and want to run away from the party. He gave another example, suppose you log in to Facebook and see that people are posting the photos of themselves with the new bought mercedes and you started comparing yourself. You start asking yourself, why don't you have that mercedes and then when you don't get the answer, you stop signing into the Facebook.

Now the question is why do people have low self esteem? Generally when people are over criticized by their parents, they will have low self esteem. In your birth-chart when the 4th house and the 10th houses are damaged by the malefic planets, it may result into the low self esteem.
Reason is because mother is represented by the 4th house and the father is represented by the 10th house in your birth-chart.
Now the remedy to the low self esteem is to Live in Now. Kapiel talked about Root Chakra Meditation and giving water to the Sun.
Giving water to the Sun is equal to praising the Sun. Sun is the planet who controls the root chakra and your self esteem.

8th lord in 9th House

How you doing? I was wondering what will happen if the 8th lord is in the 9th house of your birth-chart. I watched a video in Youtube created by Kapiel Raj of KRS Channel. I understand the logic he shares behind his words, so what ever I am going to post here today comes indirectly from him but in my own words.
First we have to understand what is 8th house and 9th house.

• 8th house is the house of sudden transformations, secrets, family of your spouse and your combined assets with your spouse, house of occult and underground things such as oils and jewel mines. 

Sudden transformations also include the birth and death, so this is the reason that people are afraid of this house. This is also the house of the secret relations that you have with you spouse, i.e. sex and pleasures.

• 9th house is the house of the higher education, philosophy, religion, teachers, foreign travels and considered as your house of luck. This is a house which everyone wants to be safe and powerful in their birth chart.
• When 8th lord goes into the 9th house, this means that the lord of the 8th house is bringing its energy into the 9th house. Thinking logically, you may say that 8th lord will bring the sudden transformations, secrets, family of your spouse, occult sciences, matters related to underground things in your life through the energy of the 9th house.

 This shows that you will get sudden transformations in your religious beliefs, your higher education path, your links with you Gurus may change abruptly, you may share many secrets related to your travel journeys to foreign lands. You may love to build your combined assets with your spouse at foreign lands. You may love to go with your spouse to foreign land and may enjoy a lot of romance but it will bring sudden transformations to your religious beliefs.

Foreign travels may also become the reason of your death because 8th house is also known as the house of life and death.

• Now depending upon the lord who rules the 8th house, will give us the different results. For example let's us say Sun is ruling the 8th house, as you know Sun represents your Ego, and self esteem too, this shows that your Ego and Self Esteem has sudden ups and downs when you travel to foreign lands. 

Your relation ship with you father is also represented by the Sun, so they may also fluctuate suddenly when you are into the foreign travels, higher education, religious matters or into your higher education.

• Now let's say Mercury is ruling the 8th house, this will sudden changes in to your philosophical views, your religious views, your relationship with teachers and then you would love to communicate to the world about those secrets, sudden changes related to the 9th house through the communication skills of Mercury. Mercury is the messenger, so you may love to write about the secrets and sudden experiences related to the 9th house.

10th lord in 3rd house of your birth chart

So, what happen when 10th lord of your birth chart goes into the 3rd house? Well, we have to understand first that what is 10th house and what is 3rd house okay?
10th house represents the surroundings at your career place, it represents your father or some higher authorities in your life such as govt.

3rd house represents your courage and efforts, day to day surroundings, your siblings, your neighborhood, your hands, communication in day to day life and short distance travels.

It doesn't matter that other person is older or younger to you, the tendency to dominate others will prevail. May be your father was a dominating personality who dominated you in your childhood and now you have learned it from him, similarly it shows that your father loves to communicate about your career a lot.

Sun in Libra (Why is Sun Debilitated in Libra?)

Today, I will discuss with you the reason why Sun is considered to be debilitated in Libra. For understanding the logic behind this, we have to understand the nature of Sun and zodiac Sign Libra.

• What is Sun? Well, in Vedic Astrological system, Sun is considered as the King of the Zodiac, so he likes to rule while sitting in the throne. He gives order to the people to go and do different tasks related to every affair of the state. 

He seldom visits the corners of the places, maybe once in a month or two months. His work is to run the court and listen to different matters offered by the courtiers. Also, Sun represents you father, your soul, your Ego, and higher authorities in your life.

• Now what does Libra signify? Libra is 7th zodiac sign which is ruled by a sensual, peace and fantasy loving planet Venus. Venus loves to have love relationships and also loves to go into places to form relationships.  It wants balance in your relationships, love/marriage relations as well as business relationships. Now Sun comes into the Libra, what will happen?

Sun has to move out of the throne and has to go to different places to have relationship. Sun's dignity is now in challenge because, no one will respect him the same way as he is respected in the court.
He gets hurt when people don't pay him the attention and respect same as he is offered as a King. He gets depressed and is not able to feel good.  That is why Sun is said to be debilitated.. if he is able to make good relationship then he will feel good but if not then gets hurt a lot.

People having Sun in Libra are driven by their ego to have relationships, if they are not in a relation, they feel depressed and in that way, generally they will have a number of relationship in their life because they can't live without it. If they are without relationship, their ego is weak and they feel depressed.

Horoscope Matching on the basis of Planetary position

Today, I watched a video on youtube in KRS Channel run by Kapiel Raaj in which for me, he explained a new way of horoscope matching. I learned few things about the Ashta-Koota system but, didn't knew much about looking at the planetary positions which according to him are best way to match the two of your horoscopes.
What he did was something different than the Ashta-Koota system which is based on your Rashi(Moon sign) and Nakshtras. I think in Ashta-Koota system a lot of importance is given to the Moon and it sounds reasonable also because Moon is nearest planet to the earth and rising of the ocean tides is the biggest example of its influence on the earth.
At the same time we must not forget about the importance of the other planets in our birth chart. Each planet is a Kark of something such as Sun is Karka of Father, Moon is of mother, Mars is of courage, Mercury of intelligence, Venus of spouse, Jupiter of wealth, Saturn of longevity, Rahu of Desire and Ketu of emancipation.

In that way we can say that judging the matching of the two horoscopes solely on the basis of the Moon sign and its Nakshtra can misguide us. I read few other articles on the internet here which talk about the importance of the planetary positions in the two charts.
What we have to do is to super-impose the two charts and then we have to see what is the effect of the planets on each other's chart. I think this can not be explained with words as it can be explained with the help of two charts which exactly Kapiel did but, still I will try to explain a little.

Suppose there are two charts one of the Virgo Ascendant and another of Capricorn Ascendant.
Now suppose the Venus of the Virgo ascendant is in the 4th house and Venus of the Capricorn ascendant is in Gemini in the 6th house.
Now if we super-impose the second chart into the first we have to put the Venus into the Gemini in the first chart. Gemini is ruling the 10th house of career. Than we have to see what effects it is producing.

If we get good effects that must be a good match right?
This makes a lot of sense than the Ashta-Koota system which uses the factors such as Varna, Vashya and Yoni etc. Some astrologers say that Ashta-Koota system is least important as compared to the Planetary matching and Kooja dosha check.

Vashya matching in Vedic Astrology for checking Marriage Compatibility

I was wondering why do we give 2 points when Vashyas are matched for a given couple. In ancient times it was believed that a girl is taken care and controlled by her father before the marriage and by her husband after the marriage.

In that way it was checked if the husband is able to control his wife or not. This was checked using matching the Vashyas of the two. Now the question arises what is Vashya?

Vashya is decided on the basis of the Rashi(Moon sign) of a person, boy or girl. There are four Vashya:

1. Manav (Biped)- Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Virgo
2. Vanchar(Wild-Beast) - Leo
3. Jalchar(Water dweller)- Cancer, Pisces, Capricorn
4. Keet(Insect) - Scorpio
5. Chatuspad(Quadrped) - Taurus, Aries

If the Boy's Vashya is superior to Girl's Vashya then it will get a score of 2 and if Girl's Vashya is superior the, it will get 0. In today's world things are changing, girls are independent and can earn their own living so, Vashya Dosha is not very much important. 

One has to check the whole Birth Chart to check the other Dosha or Yogas which will either support or negate the Vashya Dosha. 

If there are other beneficial Yogas one should not care much about the Vashya or Varna Dosha in today's world because women being independent do not need to be controlled the way needed in the past.

Nadi Dosha in Vedic Horoscope Matching

Well, I want to tell you about the Nadi Dosha in Marriage which governs 8 points among the total of 36 points.

What is Nadi Dosha?

The Nadi is of three types - Adi(Start), Madhya(middle) and Antya(End). If the proposed bride and groom have same Nadi, then you have a dosha, called Nadi Dosha. You lose all of the eight points that are attributed to the Nadi element among the Ashtkootas. 

For example, bride has Aadi Nadi, and groom has Aadi Nadi too, it creates a Nadhi Dosha. Similar if both have 'Madhya Nadi' or both have 'Antya Nadi', it creates the Nadi Dosha. 

Nadi Dosha doesn't exist if the Nadi is different. For example if groom has "Aadi" while bride has "Madhya" or "Antya" Nadi, the Nadi Dosha doesn't exist. 

What are its Effects on Married Life?

 If you marry with Nadi Dosha then you may face problems in having children. If you are able to conceive, the children might be suffering from certain sickness from the birth itself.  One of both of  you may face health problems.  and if you have children, they will be weak.

When does Nadi Dosha Get Cancelled?

Nadi Dosha gets cancelled in certain cases:

1. If two people are born with same Rashi but their nakshatra are different.
2. If Nakshatras are same but Rashis are different, again it gets cancelled.
3. If Rashis and Nakshatra both are same but the Padas of the Nakshatras are different.

5th house of both male and females should be properly checked because this is the house of children.

What are the Remedies of Nadi Dosha?

If Nadi Dosha still prevails then there are no perfect cures for it, but if you still want to marry then there are some rituals which you can follow to minimize the effects.

Ritual: Chanting Maha-Mrityunjya Mantra and offering grains, cow and cloth to a Brahmin. 

If you ask me whether I have experienced anything related to Nadi dosha, answer is NO!, but my uncles and others believe in it. This article is a result of what I learnt from them and other articles online on internet.

P.S. - I was having a marriage proposal but, I didn't want to marry because I have not seen even the face of the girl. I wanted to cut the talks immediately. I asked the date of birth and the time of birth of the girl and did a quick online horoscope match analysis.

The result was 17/36 i.e. out of 36 only 17 Gunas matched. Now, as per Vedic Astrology this marriage is considered in-auspicious and that is with what I informed my parents. That was how I ended the talks about that proposal. You can try it sometimes! ;p
